Service #3: Science for Everyone!

Beam the Science not only aims to promote science for general public but also to serve as a knowledge hub for those who have a passion in science and mathematics, especially physics, satisfying their scientific curiosity. Moreover, students who are preparing for examinations or simply having some science / mathematics questions from their school curriculum, are welcome in Burning Sci Qns? You will also get to know some interesting happenings from Beam the Science and the scientific world from Latest Sci News and Latest Events.

Beam the Science provides tuition for triple sciences (physics, chemistry and biology, pure and combined) and A/E Maths for secondary 1 to 5 as well as physics tuition for JC 1 to 2 students. Two types of tuition are available: 1) Normal Tutorial Classes (max of 5 students per class) just like most tuition centres offered; 2) Diagnostic Tuition (max of 2 students per class) which is customized tuition, similar to the private tuition, though it is more to that.

Beam the Science’s tuition works in a cycle called ITT. First is Identify—a student’s academic weaknesses in a particular subject needs to be identified, to see which areas need to be improved. Solutions that match those weaknesses will be planned for each individual student. Second is Train—where solutions planned in the first step are implemented. The last is Track—as the solutions are being implemented, students are tracked for any improvements. Any further or other problems (or the same problems are still there) which need new form of solutions will again need to be identified. Hence the cycle repeats. Any progress and problems for each student will be recorded after every lesson, just like what a doctor or beauty consultant does.

Materials is provided but student can also bring his/her own schoolwork or assessments. All tuitions are 2-in-1 which means class + online tuition. ’Class’ means class tuition in the centre while ’online’ means you can find out science information and tips from this website as well as consulting the tutor via SMS* if you have any questions from your studies. All included in your tuition fees! *Not tutor’s obligation
